Our private spot at the beach

Elia is the longest strip of fine sand on Mykonos, awarded the Blue Flag for its pristine beauty. It is also an Eldorado of sorts that captures the unique spirit of Mykonos, bringing together a cosmopolitan crowd of island habitués, vacationing families, nudists, celebrities, jet-setting island hoppers and honeymooners, as well as being the launch spot for the biggest LBGT party of the year.

Tavernas and beach bars bustle with activity in the shade of the afternoon sun, serving local delicacies alongside international coastal classics. An impressive range of watersports are available to the more energetic.

And yet Elia is surprisingly relaxed and, due to its size, ultimately less crowded than other equally renowned Mykonos beaches. On its outer fringe, the Imperial enjoys an idyllic, secluded sunbed & parasol concession that is the perfect lookout for those who wish to be near, but far enough from the island’s legendary revelries.

The pool deck

Soak up the Myconian sun and the laid-back vibe on this spacious deck that captures the essence of ocean liner luxury. With its panoramic views of the ocean, twin saltwater pools and Jacuzzi tub, feet-in-the-water cocktail bar and gourmet lunch restaurant, it’s only to follow the sound of the waves lapping against the shore that you may consider leaving your king-sized sunbed mattress and explore the contrast charms of the private beach below.
